Medical Director of the Organisation Dr. Christopher Truss, made the donation to Minister within the Ministry of Health Dr. Bheri Ramsaran at the Materials Management Unit Bond, Farm, East Bank Demerara.

The Minister said that this is more evidence of the strong partnership between the Ministry and Project Hope.

Project Hope has been contributing significantly to the development of the health sector in Guyana by providing medical supplies and equipment.

Dr. Truss said his organisation is pleased to make the donation to the Ministry of Health since his team is very impressed with the services at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). He said that the standard at the GPHC is comparable to what obtains at some health institutions in the United States.
