Goal

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that foods are safe, sound, wholesome and are manufactured, packaged, stored and offered for sale under sanitary conditions.
• Drugs and medical devices are efficacious and safe for their intended use.
• Water is potable.
• Cosmetics are harmless and made from appropriate non-allergenic materials.
• Ensure all of the above are labelled and packaged truthfully, informatively and not deceptively
